Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here.
People reach out for therapy for a lot of reasons. Maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed by the present, or the past is continuing to affect your daily life. Perhaps you just need someone to bear witness to your story. If this is your first time searching for a therapist, it is normal to feel vulnerable and have questions. One-on-one therapy is a collaborative process that can help you to identify goals, heal from the past, learn to live in the present, and gain new insight. It is a place where you can be authentically you, and unleash your feelings of anger, fear, joy, grief, confusion, and isolation.
I am a therapist in Seattle, working primarily with adults in individual and group therapy. Currently I am offering virtual session. My practice focuses on gender-based violence (domestic violence, sexual assault, etc.). I am passionate about working with clients at these intersections of multi-abuse trauma. I value client-centered harm-reduction. You are the expert in your own life.
Therapy is a revolutionary and transformative act of resistance. When you reach out for help you are upending the narrative of needing to hold your pain on your own. Harm happens in community, therefore, so must healing.
